Are you a Renewables engineer working on Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) and open to a new role working with one of Bristol's leading gas heating and renewables companies
Due to continuous contract growth, this company is recruiting an engineer or senior engineer, paying a salary between £38-45k depending on experience this is a cracking opportunity for either someone still developing their skills in renewables and air source heat pumps, or someone looking to take that next step and has leadership capabilities.
The role will be working on planned and reactive maintenance of air source heat pumps across the Bristol, Somerset, Gloucester, and Wiltshire area.
The role will also involve working on new installs with the projects division, training will be given where needed.
Main Duties/Responsibilities - Carry out routine and reactive maintenance on all types of renewable heating and hot water systems (ASHP, GSHP, and Solar Thermal).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot heating system issues.
- Able to work independently on own initiatives, as well as work as part of a team.
- Strictly adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and all relevant industry standards (including basic risk assessments)
Experience - Experience working on heat pumps and other renewable technologies.
- Strong knowledge in servicing/commissioning, fault finding, and problem-solving on heat pumps and other renewable technologies.
- Knowledge of leading manufacturers such as Daikin, Mitsubishi, Valliant, etc.
- MCS knowledge.
- F-Gas trained or previous experience (not essential as training will be provided).
- Competent with electrics and hydraulics.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Essential Qualifications and Skills - Level 3 domestic air source heat pumps
- Level 3 domestic ground source heat pumps
- G3 unvented hot water, commission and install
- Full driving license (maximum six penalty points)
